I’m continuing last week’s ColLINKtion theme, but instead of featuring romantic gifts, I’ve collected my favorite amigurumi patterns. Since amigurumi works up so quickly, you have plenty of time to make these little cuties before the 14th.
Like last week, I tried to pick slightly geeky patterns that stray off the beaten path but that still reflect mushiness and tender-eyed affection. Be careful. These patterns totally bring the “awwww” factor. Plus, they are all FREE!!!
1. Moca and Mocha Heart Bear by ohana craft
These little guys wear their hearts on their sleeve. Perfect gift for a little one.
2. Love Bunnies by Erika Hughes
Another great gift for a daughter, granddaughter, or niece — or even a cute couple.
3. The Love Nest by Janet McMahon
Just the thing for newlyweds, this pattern means that you get to use two V-day sayings instead of just one — love birds in their love nest.
4. Mr. & Mrs. Robot By Christen Haden
Make this for the nerd who has captured your heart. Talk about love machine…
5. Puppy Love by Nancy Anderson
The perfect companion for your significant other when he’s in the doghouse.
6. Amigurumi Cupcake Valentine’s Day by Cristina Batista
This one’s my fav. Who can resist a cupcake-o-love? You keep one half, and your soul mate keeps the other. Or, this makes a fun teacher’s gift.
7. Amigurumi Heart Cactus by Sayjai Thawornsupacharoen
If your sweetheart is from the Southwest, here you go!
8. Love Bugs by Lily / Sugar’n Cream
There are quite a few love bug patterns out there, but these critters are so cute. Stuff a bunch under your loved one’s bedsheets.
And if you want to crochet something a little more practical than ami, try my FREE lacy heart-shaped sleep mask pattern!
Happy V-day crocheting!
