Free Apple Pie Potholder Pattern

Pie_2

Apple pie is the poster child for down home American baking, so the next time you stoke the oven for a pie or some cookies, use this apple pie potholder to keep your countertops safe. By using different colors for the filling, you can create different kinds of pie (blueberry, cherry, razzleberry). This crochet potholder pattern features cute little crust vents, like on a real pie.

I hope you enjoy this free crochet pattern. Please comment with errata or tips on how I can improve this pattern. Thank you!

  3. I love this and am in the process of finishing my 1st one. It might be helpful to people like me if you state that the top crust fits into the bottom crust at the 5th row. At least mine does…therefore the “filling” should be made following the bottom crust MINUS the 6th row. Now please, CORRECT ME if it is me who is not reading the pattern correctly.
